It’s often recommended to pair it with their popular egusi soup, a hearty dish made from ground melon seeds that serves as the ideal complement, enhancing the overall dining experience. As you explore their enticing drink options, don't miss out on the hibiscus sorrel, which is highlighted as a refreshing complement to your meal. It’s a delightful choice that many have claimed as their new favorite.
Additionally, Bamba Cuisine showcases a variety of lesser-known treasures, like the fattayah, a delicious fried patty known for its accompanying spicy sauce that elevates the experience. Each dish seems to narrate a story, crafted with love and a touch of spice that honors Senegalese culinary heritage.

“ I really enjoyed the food. I ordered to go. Took a while to prepare so I recommend calling the order in. Any questions I asked they answered and explained. I have the cassava, egusi soup, jollof rice, and fufu. I tried 3 different drinks they had. The purple, which I think was hibiscus, was really good. Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu. Food was flavorful and filling. ”
“ The best Jollof and Egusi soup I’ve ever had. Great “Cousins” deal where you get 2 for 20. Amazing food! Also, really good hibiscus sorrel. Can’t wait to tell friends about it. ”
“ Absolutely delicious food!! And it's all so fresh! Since discovering this restaurant, I have been here at least twice per week. Grilled lamb chops (Suya): top tier! You get many pieces with a Dijon onion sauce that's so tasty. Tender and really grilled (as in the smoke flavour is there from a real fire grill!) Grilled chicken (jerk): Amazing! Tender, well seasoned and again with the smoke of the grill all throughout. This too is served with onion sauce and pepper sauce. Whole Fish: My absolute favorite! It's literally the whole fish flash fried(for crispiness) and then open fire grilled to infused the smoke flavour. Well seasoned and served with the same onion sauce, pepper sauce and also another portion of sauteed onions, bell peppers. Jollof: hands down, the best Jollof I've had in Atlanta. I can tell they use smoked fish to make this one; the flavour is so rich. They also use cracked rice, which I personally like more than long grain. Plantain: perfect natural sweetness to balance the savory flavours of the Jollof. Fattayah(beef patty): addictive! No matter what I order, I always get at least one, lol. These are also made to order. Ground beef and ground lamb seasoned well, wrapped in a flaky pastry and fried til golden. I love this paired with the plantain. Sorrel: deep red and deeply satisfying! I love hibiscus tea and this one is proper. Nice sweetness, great balance of flavors including a hint of mint(excellent for digestion) Ginger pineapple juice: my favorite! It's the real deal. If you let it sit too long the ginger and pineapple puree will settle to the bottom (as it should). Just give it a shake and you're ready. I love ginger after a meal because it is also good for digestion. Dessert: fried dough balls, like puff puff if you're familiar with that. Great way to satisfy your sweet tooth with something chewy and not overly sweet. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm. Plenty of booths and very comfortable. The staff are very very nice; always attentive and accommodating and get your order cooked fast and correct. The owner is always around and is very personable. He is an accomplished chef and knows how to run a kitchen efficiently - kudos! Most people order carryout and plenty of UberEats and DoorDash drivers pick up here. Call ahead if you don't want to wait, but I don't mind cause the wait is never too long even though they cook your food fresh. If you enjoy West African cuisine, stop by here - you won't be disappointed! The portions are generous and the flavour is there! ”
“ I haven't had too many good experiences with finding African food around the metro area. However, after trying this food, I have definitely found a go to spot! I tried the fattayah and the soupou kandjia with fufu. That fattayah was so good, I can eat a pan of those. Plus, it came with a spicy sauce on the side which took that fried patty to the next level! I could literally eat a jar of that hot sauce by itself. Both flavorful and spicy! The okra soup was excellent too! Had the right amount of flavor and tasted great with the fufu. You get a lot of food so you'll have a ton of leftovers. All in all, a great meal and you won't be disappointed with anything you try. ”
“ This may be my new spot because I love Benachin and this one was perfect. I ordered extra vegetables on the side, but the sauce in the vegetables taste like it came out of a meat stew. I was assuming steamed veggies or something, but I really didn’t mind and ate it all. I don’t like these french fries and somewhere overcooked. I prefer they pick a different type of french fry. The plantains were burnt. I wouldn’t have put them in the box burnt. Just make more plantains. The drink was delicious. The grilled lamb was tasty. I want more of those mustard onions that came with the grilled lamb. I definitely order from this place again and their prices are fair with great portion sizes. I am glad I found this one, but I’m not ordering plantains or fries again, lol. ”
